The configuration of contact fields allows users to customise and expand the types of information they can store for each contact.
Users can add new contact fields with different input types, such as text entries, selection boxes and text areas, allowing for a more flexible and comprehensive contact management system.
Example application: A user wants to capture the preferred contact method for each contact. Add a new selection field called ‘Preferred contact method’ with options such as ‘Email’, ‘Phone’ and ‘SMS’.
