# What is a conversation?

A conversation in WhatsApp Business is defined as a **continuous 24-hour message thread between a company and its customer**. This 24-hour window opens with the delivery of a message (in our case, when creating a campaign and sending a template) and **is counted in our platform as 1 conversation when the message has been delivered to the customer**. In WhatsApp Business there are different conversation categories: Marketing, Utility, Authentication and Service.

With Wamoca you can open conversations in the Marketing category: it allows you to **achieve a wide variety of objectives, from generating awareness to driving sales and re-targeting customers**.
